Employment Opportunities at Snooza...

We are currently looking for suitable applicants for the following positions.

we're not as big as we appear! We're a small group of dedicated people (most of us mums with young kids) who turn up to work everyday because we are passionate about what we do. If you're looking for a big bucks, corporate, suit appropriate, mobile wielding, inner city office... you're probably looking in the wrong place.

Where?  
  Our factory in Braeside, Victoria.
When?  
 

Our office is open Monday to Friday but we're pretty flexible as to which days. The position would be part-time, approximately 2 days per week so may be ideally suited to a student studying Design, Arts or similar.

Who?  
  Someone with a flair for fashion & fabrics & the ability to work with a variety of raw materials including steel, wood, plastics, etc. An understanding of the requirements of the furnishings industry & pattern making experience would be highly regarded.
What?  
  This would be a great role if you're looking to gain more experience in the design field in a very autonomous environment. You'd be required to monitor trends within & outside our industry, develop new products & improve existing designs, work with our production area to create samples for testing, liaise with suppliers & assist with the sourcing & approval of fabrics & component materials.
Where?

  Someone with a passion for the environment & running sustainable businesses. Proven experience or relevant qualification essential.
What?  
  Two-fold. We'd need you to monitor our factory & implement changes where necessary to ensure we're as clean & green as we can be. Secondly, we'd need you to keep on top of the latest innovations in materials for our products... can you find a biodegradable, washable, organic polar fleece in purple?... you get the idea!
Why?  
  Because our business believes in being here for the future which means not only conducting ourselves in a sustainable way but also developing products utilising materials that are environmentally savvy.
